A system DSN entry is setup as follows
1. Go to Administrative tools > Data Sources (ODBC) to launch the
ODBC administrator.
2. Click on the „System DSN‟ tab then click on „Add‟.
NOTE: It is important that you select „System DSN‟ and not „User
DSN‟ otherwise the service will not have access to the data
source/database.
