4. Select the target computer(s) to ping.
TIP 1: You can also enumerate target computers by clicking on
„Select‟. This will open a dialog from where you can choose the
required target computer(s).
TIP 2: You can import the list of target computers from a text
file using the „Import‟ button. However make sure that the text
file is in plain text.
5. Optionally, you can specify a short description for the new
check(s) to be created.
6. Click on „Finish‟ to generate the ICMP ping check(s) for the
selected target computer(s).
Different types of checks: Different properties
GFI Network Server Monitor ships with a selection of
monitoring checks. Different monitoring checks require
different parameters to operate. The New Check Wizard asks
you to specify the parameters required by the selected check
during its creation.
