Message templates
Alert messages templates can be customized by clicking on the
„Format Message‟ button present in the Email, Network, and
SMS/Pager pages of the NSM Global Alerting options. Message
templates can be built up using text and variables. Variables are
substituted each time a message is sent out and must be enclosed
within “%” (e.g. %DATE%) when specified in message templates. The
following are variables that can be included in message templates:
%DATE% - date in mm/dd/yyyy format.
%TIME% - time in hh:mm:ss format.
%CHECK_NAME% - the display name of the check as seen in the
configuration.
