GFI Network Server Monitor uses a Linux shell script, via SSH, to determine printer availability.
A Printer Availability check requires the following parameters:
» Printer name – Specify the name of the printer to be monitored.
4.10.6 Process Running Check
GFI Network Server Monitor enables you to check processes on local and remote target
computers running on Linux/Unix. If a process is active, then the target computer is considered
to be available.
