The File Size function requires the following parameters:
» File name – Specify the complete path to the file which needs to be monitored (e.g.
/data/sys_log).
» File size limit – Specify the maximum size (in KB, MB or GB) allowed for this file.
4.10.5 Printer availability Check
GFI Network Server Monitor can check for the availability of network printers connected to
target computers running on Linux / Unix. When a printer problem occurs, alerts can be sent to
the support personnel in order for them to take immediate action and get the printer back
online or transfer print jobs to a different printer.
