The number format of a recipient depends on the provider (when using SMSC). This
requires an amount of trial and error to find the right format; for example, if you live
in the UK (international dialing code: +44), you should try:
» 12345678
» 4412345678
» 004412345678

7.10 Message templates
Alert messages templates can be customized by clicking on the „Format Message‟ button present
in the Email, Network, and SMS/Pager pages of the NSM Global Alerting options. Message
templates can be built up using text and variables. Variables are substituted each time a
message is sent out and must be enclosed within “%” (e.g. %DATE%) when specified in message
templates. The following are variables that can be included in message templates:
» %DATE% - date in mm/dd/yyyy format.
» %TIME% - time in hh:mm:ss format.
» %CHECK_NAME% - the display name of the check as seen in the configuration.
» %CHECK_FOLDER% - the name of the folder in which the specific check is located.
» %CHECK_TARGET% - the check's target computer name/IP; can be either the one set in
the check or the one inherited from the parent folder.
