General settings
Introduction to settings

The Settings node allows you to configure a number of general
options, including the administrator‟s email address, the Update URLs,
the list of Local Domains, the SMTP server bindings and the
management of the user list when GFI MailSecurity is installed in
SMTP mode only. To configure the general settings, click the GFI
MailSecurity Settings node.
Define the administrator’s email address
GFI MailSecurity can be configured to send email notifications to the
administrator whenever a security threat is found in an email. To set
up the administrator‟s notification address:
1. Click the Settings node to open the General Settings page in the
right window.
2. In the General tab, specify the email address where you wish to
send email notifications addressed to the administrator in the
Administrator Email box.
3. Click Apply.
