Disable standard journaling from the Microsoft Exchange
Management Shell
In the Microsoft Exchange Management Shell, use the following
syntax to disable a journaling rule:
Set-MailboxDatabase <Mailbox Database> -JournalRecipient
$Null
Disable premium journaling
1. Select Start ► All Programs ► Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
► Microsoft Exchange Management Console.

2. Expand Organization Configuration ► Hub Transport node and
select Journaling tab.
3. Right click the journal rule to remove, and click Remove.
4. Click Yes to confirm that you want to remove the journal rule.
