2. Configure the following options:
Option Description
Send an email when new patches or
service packs are available.
Send an email when new patches are identified.
Enable automatic approval for: Selected updates are automatically downloaded and installed on target
computers. Select from the following:
Security updates
Non-security updates
Service packs and update rollups.
Disable automatic approval for Selected updates are downloaded but not installed automatically on target
computers. Select from the following:
Microsoft
®
updates
Non-Microsoft
®
updates
Major version upgrades.
Note
Updates can be installed manually from the Remediation Center. For
more information, refer to Using the Remediation Center (page 138).

3. Select the appropriate check boxes and click OK to save changes.
