5 Operation
5.1 Commissioning, connection, operation
1. Connect the product to an easily accessible, preferably separately protected,
socket.
This is not a danger sign.
The green POWER LED lights up as soon as the device is ready for operation.
During normal operation, no controls are to be operated.
2. Pay attention to the visual and audible warning signals described below.
5.2 Warning signals

The GREEN POWER LED lights:
The device monitors the room air.
Tension is on.

False alarm, defect
The YELLOW FAULT LED lights up
continuously:
The device is not ready for operation.
The device does not monitor room air.
5.3 False alarm, defect
In the event of improper operation or false alarm, the FAULT LED lights up.
1. Are the environmental conditions deviating from the optimum operating range,
or are chemicals other than the gases referred to herein, e.g. alcohol or
acid present in high concentration in the room, test the Gas & CO detectors in
another room.
2. If none of the above situations occur, disconnect the device from the power
supply and reconnect it.
If a false alarm continues, replace the device.
