Operating elements (Fig. A)
1 MASTER CLEAR: Deletes all data stored in the memory,
including the current time and all programs
2 RANDOM: Switches the random function on/o
3 CLOCK:
- Sets the current time when used with the WEEK, HOUR,
MIN buttons
- Sets the device to 12 or 24-hour mode when used with the
TIMER button
- Activates the summer time function when used with the
ON/AUTO/OFF button
4 TIMER: Sets the programs when used with the WEEK,
HOUR, MIN buttons
5 ON/AUTO/OFF: Selects the timer's operating mode.
6 WEEK: Sets the week when used with the CLOCK or
TIMER button
7 HOUR: Sets the hours when used with the CLOCK or
TIMER button
8 MIN: Sets the minutes when used with the CLOCK or
TIMER button
9 RST/RCL: Reset button
10 LED: Status indicator

- 24h/12h clock
Press the CLOCK (3) and TIMER (4) buttons simultaneously
to switch between 24 and 12-hour mode. (12-hour mode = 1
AM to 12 AM & 1 PM to 12 PM). PM also appears in the display
when using 12-hour mode.
- Daylight saving time
Press the CLOCK (3) and ON/AUTO/OFF (5) buttons
simultaneously to put the time forward by 1 hour (summer
time). The symbol for summer time will appear on the right-
hand side of the display. Repeat the process to switch to
winter time.
Programming the timer
The timer can accommodate 10 programs. You can program a
switch-on time "ON" and a switch-o time "OFF" for each of
these. You can set a program for individual days of the week
or predefined blocks of days.
The following blocks of days can be programmed:
MO to SU (whole week), MO to SU (individual days), MO to
FR, SA to SU, MO to SA, MO & WE & FR, TU & TH & SA, MO
to WE, TH to SA, MO & WE & FR & SU.
It’s a good idea to write down the programs you wish to set
beforehand , as this will make them easier to input.
To enter programming mode, press button (4) once. "ON 1"
and the switch-on time of the first program will appear on the
display. If this has not been programmed, "--:--" will appear
instead of the time.
Initial activation
Plug the timer into a mains socket for approx. 14 hours to
allow the in-built reserve battery to charge.
- Master Clear/Delete all settings
Press the MASTER CLEAR (1) button with a pointed object
to delete all stored data and reprogram the timer. All symbols
(test function) will now appear on the LCD display (10) for
approx. 3 seconds, followed by 0:00:00 MO AUTO.
Setting the time
Before setting the time, switch to summer time if necessary
(+ 1h). See the "Daylight saving time" section.
- Press the CLOCK and WEEK buttons simultaneously to
set the day of the week
- Press the CLOCK and HOUR buttons simultaneously to
set the time (in hours)
- Press the CLOCK and MIN buttons simultaneously to set
the time (in minutes)
- Example:
Setting the time to 13:26 on Tuesday following a reset
- Press the CLOCK (3) and WEEK (6) buttons once
simultaneously. TU will be displayed
- Press the CLOCK (3) and HOUR (7) buttons 13 times
simultaneously. 13:00 will be displayed
- Press the CLOCK (3) and MIN (8) buttons 26 times
simultaneously. 13:26 will be displayed
AUTO = the timer is in programmed mode
S = summer time
R = random function enabled
