11.4 SUGGESTIONS FOR THE CREATION OF A CUSTOM TRACK

The finish lines set have a transversal length in the forward direction determined by the value of the

parameter FL LENGTH (see chap. 10.4)

Factory setting is equal to 30 metres (15 m on the right hand side in the forward direction and 15 m on the

left side).

We suggest that the finish lines not be placed in points that could interfere with other components of the

track.

In figure A, a proper positioning; in figure B a faulty positioning of finish lines on a closed track.

It is suggested that the finish lines be set at a speed greater than 30 km/h.

11.5 UPDATING THE TRACK LIBRARY

The unit's track library may be updated by way of the GATE – LITE software.

Consult the manual provided in the CD included with the kit to find out the updating methods.
