9.2 LATER TURN-ON OF THE UNIT
The next time that the MD60LOG is turned on the unit requires the user to, with the TRACK SEARCH option
set on MAN (see chap. 10.4 of this manual) or with current track not present in the internal library of the
instrument, perform certain preliminary operations.
The following chapters illustrate the behaviour to follow in possible situations that a user may encounter.
9.2.1 Turning on the unit with a track already properly set
Under normal use of the unit, each time that it is turned on with the TRACKING MOD option set on MAN
(see chap. 10.4 of this manual) or with current track not present in the internal library of the instrument, the
display will visualise the following screen.
In this condition it is necessary to perform the setting of the track (or to create a new one): if the track
proposed by the instrument corresponds to the track desired the OK item is selected, push S (SET) briefly to
access the CHRONO page on the MD60LOG:
In this condition the instrument is ready to be used either in the CHRONO or the DATA LOGGER mode (see
chap. 5 of this manual).
To learn the different start-up methods and the other possibilities offered by the MD60LOG refer to chap. 10
of this manual.
NOTE: stand by until the message disappears before starting up the unit in CHRONO or DATA
LOGGER mode.
9.2.2 Turn on of the unit and selection of a track
Under normal use of the unit, each time that it is turned on with the TRACK SEARCH option set on MAN
(see chap. 10.4 of this manual) the display will visualise the following screen.
