As seen here no Mock Location app has been set. You will need to set this to GNSS Status. Click
on Mock Location App and tap on the GNSS Status choice, this will allow you to use the Mock
Location function, and you will see an improvement in GPS performance though NuSite.
First Time Connection to the Trimble
The Bluetooth pairing needs to be made to the Trimble with the Android NuSite device. Prior to starting
the GNSS Status app.
• Turn on the Trimble by pressing and holding the power button. For initial pairing of Bluetooth
continue holding the power button until both LEDs turn red, the LED will start blinking
blue, release the power button when the LED starts blinking. That indicates the device is
ready to pair over Bluetooth.
• Open the Android Settings Connection Bluetooth window.
• The Trimble will show up in the available devices list as GNSS:xxxxx (xxxxx=last 5 digits of the
device serial number)
• Tap on that device and the Android will pair to the Trimble. The Trimble should now be listed in
the list of Paired Devices.
• Open the GNSS Status app. The app will open to the Home page
• At the bottom of the Home page is a yellow bar that indicates the source of GPS data. By default
after initial install it will show Location Services indicating the app is using the Android device on
board GPS.
