Summary
• Work Orders are created on NuScribe in the Work Orders view. See the NuScribe manual
Appendix A for instructions for setting up Work Orders.
• Work Orders are synchronized to the NuSite devices via NuWeb. See the Data Synchronization
section for more information on synchronization.
• It is not necessary to have a Work Order to carry out NuSite operations, but if the navigation
feature of NuSite is required, then the Work Order feature needs to be used.
o At least 1 Work Order has to be setup on NuScribe and synchronized to the NuSite
devices in use, in order to pass the Job ID, CRC and KCK Unit flag to the NuSite devices. If
not, NuSite will not flag incorrect Job ID or CRCs, and will incorrectly flag tilt on KCK
units.
• The use of Work Orders for assigning jobs to certain users, allows for tracking of how fast and
complete the work was done.
• Work Orders can be associated to certain NuSite usernames that are setup on NuScribe and
synchronized via NuWeb to the NuSite devices in use.

• Clicking on the Work Orders icon in the Home page will open the Work Orders list.
