➢ Note: Important information about the NuSite installation and the device in use, can be found
by tapping ABOUT in the upper right hand of the top toolbar in the Login screen as seen in
Figure 9 below.
➢ Important operational considerations for the use of NuSite.
o When Bluetooth is turned on, the NuSite device will pick up scans of ALL NRUs, those
deployed on line, in low power mode in pickups, and in low power mode or testing in
camp.
▪ Recording all scans can be confusing at times. For example, if the last scan was
recorded when a pickup was parked next to a receiver station, or at the in
country warehouse.
▪ Recording all scans can also be useful. NRUs that are missing may be found
through NuSite scans of NRUs in camp, either on charge, being tested, or left in
the back seat of a pickup.
▪ Users will need to decide how they prefer to use NuSite.
o Keep the screen time out as short as possible in order to help save battery power, so the
screen is not on when the device is not in use.
o Power off the device when not in use.
▪ Ensure Bluetooth is off if powering off the device before leaving the line at the
end of the day
o Putting the device into Airplane mode, then manually turning on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth,
will also help save power by disabling unneeded services.
