o If the NuSite device has been synched to the NuScribe database, and receiver
information is present in the NuSite database, the Line and Station fields will
automatically populate with the nearest receiver point. If there are no nearby receiver
points or the wrong numbers have populated the fields, the Line and Station can be
manually typed in by tapping on the Line and entering the desired number, then tapping
on Station and entering the desired number.
▪ If an external GPS is connected to the device, the positioning information will
display below the Station box.
▪ If there is no external GPS or the NuSite device has lost Bluetooth connection to
the GPS, instead of positioning information the positions will be filled with the
name of the field, i.e. Ext Lat
o Tap Assign to assign the NRU to that line and station or tap Cancel to cancel the
operation, or Update Deployment if editing a deployment.

▪ If there is a conflict, the conflict would be listed above, and the dialog box would
show CANCEL or DEPLOY OVERRIDE. Tap CANCEL to cancel the deployment or
DEPLOY OVERRIDE to override the conflict and finish the deployment of the
NRU. When replacing a NRU at a receiver point for whatever troubleshooting
reason, a conflict would be seen.
• If the NRU that the NuSite device is connected to is in a Deployed state, Un-Deploy will be
shown in the grey bar.
