Figure 33
▪ Self-Testing Errors – if any errors are detected during the NRU power-on testing,
they will be listed here. If no errors are detected the field will show (none). If
errors are detected the error will be listed and the field will turn red. The Test
Results bar will turn red and indicate the number of errors present in the Test
Results field.
▪ Geophone Resistance – indicates the resistance of either the internal geophone
element or external geophone string if the unit is one with an external
geophone connector (KCK), during the last power up test. The Geophone
Resistance is taken during the geophone tests during power up. If the Geophone
Resistance falls outside the defined parameters set in the NuScribe parameter
setup, this field will turn red and the Test Results bar will be red and indicate the
number of errors detected in the Test Results field.
▪ Geophone Impedance – indicates the impedance of either the internal
geophone element or external geophone string, if the unit is one with an
external geophone connector (KCK), during the last power up test. The
Geophone Impedance is taken during the geophone tests. If the Geophone
Impedance falls outside the defined parameters set in the NuScribe parameter
setup, this field will turn red and the Test Results bar will be red and indicate the
number of errors detected in the Test Results field.
▪ Total Harmonic Distortion – indicates the harmonic distortion level detected
during the last set of internal tests that were run. If the Distortion level falls
outside the defined parameters set in the NuScribe parameter setup, this field
will turn red and the Test Results bar will be red and indicated the number of
errors detected in the Tests Results field.
