1 Description of the System
1.1 Overview
The Zenius800 is a compact, high performance, low weight device with an integrated high accu-
racy GNSS, designed for outdoor & fieldwork usage. The Zenius800 can withstand severe envi-
ronmental conditions including vibration, shock, moisture and temperature variations. The
Zenius800 is suitable for use in harsh environments such as construction sites, warehouses, mili-
tary, manufacturing and field service.
1.2 System Concept
1.2.1 Power Concept
Use the batteries, chargers and accessories recommended by GeoMax to ensure the correct
functionality of the instrument.
Power for the instrument can be supplied either internally or externally.
Power supply Description
Internal Removable Li-Ion battery.
External 5 V to 20 V DC, 2 A power supply using a cable.
1.2.2 Data Storage Concept
Data can be recorded on the SD card.
The instrument has a SD card slot fitted as standard. A SD card can be inserted and removed.
