To open the battery compartment, follow the instructions of "Remove the battery
step-by-step".
1. To insert the battery to the compartment, attach the upper side of the battery to the
compartment at an angle.
Align the contacts of the battery with the connectors of the battery compartment.
2. Lower the bottom side of the battery and put it in gently.
3. Push the lock of the battery to the lock position to secure the battery.
4. Attach the cover of the battery compartment at an angle.
Align the latches of the cover with the corresponding holes in the battery compart-
ment.
5. Press the cover firmly down until it is closed.
6. Push the Lock A of battery compartment to the lock position.
Push the Lock B of battery compartment to the lock position.

The IP rating is only ensured if the battery compartment is attached correctly!
3.1.2 Charging the Battery
During charging, the home screen status bar displays the charging icon if the screen is on. When
the charging is completed, the home screen status bar displays the full battery icon if the screen
is on.

Only use the charger delivered with the Zenius800.
Charge with AC power adapter
1. Insert the small plug end of the USB data cable into the USB-C port of the
Zenius800.
2. Insert the large plug end of the USB data cable into the AC power adapter.
3. Insert the AC power adapter plug into a power outlet to charge.
Charge with USB data cable
1. Insert the small plug end of the USB data cable into the USB-C port of the
Zenius800.
2. Connect the large plug end of the USB data cable into the computer.
The battery starts charging.

The USB data cable has a lower charging capability than the AC power adapter.
3.2 Inserting and Removing a SIM Card and SD Card

Keep the card dry.
•
Use it only within the specified temperature range.
•
Do not bend the card.
•
Protect the card from direct impacts.
Failure to follow these instructions could result in data loss and/or permanent damage to the
card.
Apply general practice for working with static-sensitive devices when you open the device, insert
the SIM or SD card and closing the device:
•
Discharge any static charge before opening the device and working with the SIM or SD
card.
•
The device must not be subject to high electrostatic potentials when it is open.
•
Minimise contact with internal components of the device.
•
Avoid any discharges of static electricity near the device when inserting the SIM or SD card.
