7.5 Brg/Dist

This function calculates and displays the slope and horizontal distance, height difference, azi-

muth, grade, and coordinate differences between the last two measured points. Valid distance

measurements are required for the calculation.

1. Press FNC when within any application.

2. Select Brg/Dist from the FUNCTIONS menu.

Field Description

Brg Difference in bearing between the two points.

Grade Difference in gradient between the two points.

hDIST Difference in horizontal distance between the two points.

sDIST Difference in slope distance between the two points.

d.d.Z Difference in height between the two points.

The following are important messages or warnings that may appear.

Messages Description

Less than two valid measurements! The values cannot be calculated as there are less

than two valid measurements.
