Operator’s Manual GBS321A
• Know the location and operation of the switch trigger “Lock-ON” button. If
using the sander with the switch locked “ON”, be ready for emergency situations to switch it “OFF”.
•
Be sure to properly adjust the belt tracking so it doesn't overhang the tool
housing. Severe lacerations can be caused by a running belt overhanging the housing.
•
Take precautions against dust inhalation. The dust generated while sanding certain wood
species and wood products can be injurious to your health. Always operate your sander in a well ventilated
area and provide for proper dust removal. Dust collection systems should be used whenever possible. Wear
an approved dust mask or respirator. Splinters, airborne debris and dust can cause irritation, injury, and/or
illness.
•
Some wood contains preservatives which can be toxic. Take extra care to
prevent inhalation and skin contact when working with these materials. Ask
for and follow any safety information available from your material supplier.
WARNING: Read and understand all warnings, cautions and operating
instructions before using this equipment. Failure to follow all instructions listed below
