Safety T i p s
Do not wait for an emergency to learn how to connect your generator and select
loads to GenerLink. (See Setup Procedures for detailed information.)
- Do not connect the GenerLok power cord to GenerLink if the red fault
status light is continuously illuminated.
- Never connect or disconnect the GenerLok power cord to/from your
por t ab l e generator while the generator is operating. Turn off the portable
generator and turn off all circuits in your breaker panel before connecting or
disconnecting the power cord.
- Before using the GenerLok power cord, check the cord for exposed wires
and/or frayed insulation.
- Keep the power cord stored in a dry, safe location when not in use.
- Ensure that the GenerLok power cord is in a protected area where it will not
be damaged by lawn mowers, power tools or vehicles.
- Never attempt to remove, repair, dismantle, modify, or alter GenerLink
once it has been installed.
