This instruction shows a typical installation.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider

than the other) as a safety feature to reduce the risk of

electric shock.This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only

one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse

the plug. If it still does not fit contact a qualified electrician.

Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully

inserted. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

Install the Fixture 1A SOCKET ASSEMBLY SOCKET COVER SHADE 3 COLUMN 6 COLLAR NUT 5 LAMP 2 BASE ADAPTER THREADED COLUMN 1 WASHERS HEX NUT 2 BASE 1 Insert the adapter into the base and secure together using washers and hex nut. 2 Assemble the columns by screwing them together, then screw the column assembly onto the adapter. 3 Screw the socket assembly onto the column assembly. 4 Place the cover and shade onto the socket, then secure them in place by screwing the collar nut onto the socket.
