WIDE RANGE, HIGH ACCURACY PROTEIN/URINE DIGITAL
REFRACTOMETER WITH ATC – DREF/UP320
DREF/UP320
REF312ATC
A refractometer measures a substance’s index of refraction, which is determined by its
composition.
In practice, traditional and digital refractometers are used to measure:
a. The concentration of sugar or other soluble solids in juices, syrups or similar solutions
b. The salinity or specific gravity of watery solutions
c. The viscosity of refrigerant oils, glycols, brake fluids, and polymers
Many refractometers use the unit Brix, which can be expressed as a percentage or in
degrees. Others use relative units such as the SG (for specific gravity) or the RI (for
refractive index)
All of our handheld traditional refractometers have a metal body with a cushioned eyepiece,
a rubber hand grip, and a calibration screen. Included with each is a calibration screw driver,
a plastic pipette and a carrying case.
FEATURES:
• Measures the specific gravity and refractive
index of urine, blood serum, plasma, albumen,
and protein
• Automatic temperature control (ATC)
• Metal body
• Rubber hand grip blocks heat
• Calibration screen
• Cushioned rubber eyepiece
• Non-roll stand
• Prism mounted in high impact plastic
