INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing General Tools & Instruments’ TS05 ToolSmart™ Infrared Thermometer. Please read this user’s manual carefully and thoroughly before using the thermometer. The TS05 is a compact, non-contact (infrared) thermometer (IRT) with a 12:1 distance-to-spot (D:S) ratio and a wide measurement range of -40° to 1076°F (-40° to 580°C).

Bluetooth connection activated SETUP INSTRUCTIONS INSTALL BATTERY Open the battery compartment (callout D of Fig. 1) by pulling its cover away from the grip. Then plug the “9V” battery that comes with the TS05 into the wired socket inside the compartment.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS To make a quick temperature measurement, squeeze the measurement trigger on the front of the grip and hold it for at least one second while pointing the laser at the target. Note that the SCAN icon appears along with the measured temperature while you are squeezing the trigger. When you release the trigger, the SCAN icon disappears and is replaced by the HOLD icon. Twenty seconds later, the LCD backlight dims by 50% to extend battery life.

NEVER use a solvent, such as alcohol, to clean the lens. To clean the thermometer’s housing, use soap and water and a sponge or soft cloth. When the icon appears in the upper left corner of the display, it’s time to change the thermometer’s “9V” battery. To do so, refer to the Setup Instructions on p. 6. If the text “OH” or “OL” appears on the display, the target’s temperature is outside the measurement range of the TS05.

INTRODUCCIÓN Gracias por haber comprado el termómetro infrarrojo TS05 ToolSmart™ de General Tools & Instruments. Lea cuidadosamente todo este manual del usuario antes de usar el termómetro. El TS05 es un termómetro (infrarrojo) (IRT) compacto, sin contacto, con una proporción distancia puntos (D:S) de 12:1 y un amplio rango de medición de -40 a 580 °C.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN Para hacer una medición rápida de temperatura, apriete el gatillo de medición que está adelante del mango y manténgalo apretado durante un segundo por lo menos, mientras apunta el láser al objetivo. Note que aparece el ícono SCAN junto con la temperatura medida mientras mantiene apretado el gatillo. Cuando suelta el gatillo, desaparece el ícono SCAN y se reemplaza por el ícono HOLD.

hayan quedado. Si fuera necesario, repase cuidadosamente la lente con un hisopo de algodón humedecido con agua. NUNCA use un solvente, como alcohol, para limpiar la lente. Para limpiar la cubierta del termómetro, use una esponja o un trapo suave con agua y jabón. Cuando aparece el ícono en el extremo superior izquierdo de la pantalla, es hora de cambiar la batería de 9 voltios del termómetro. Para hacerlo, siga las instrucciones de preparación de la página 18.
