IRT102 Manual 3-lang_FINAL2a-032614_awb 3/26/14 9:54 AM Page 2 INTRODUCTION The IRT102 is a small and lightweight non-contact thermometer that measures the surface temperature of an object from a distance by using an IR sensor to measure its thermal radiation. A laser pointer indicates the target area (spot) whose temperature is being measured. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS The IRT102’s targeting laser is a Class 2 type that emits less than 1mW of power at a wavelength of 655nm.

(measure) button, hold it for at least one second, and then release. The temperature of the surface will be displayed instantly on the LCD. Note that when you release Meas. the reading will be held for 15 seconds and then disappear as the IRT automatically powers off (to extend battery life).

To eliminate error, the IRT must be moved close enough so the motor is the only object in the target area (see Fig. 5 bottom). Fig. 5. (mesure), maintenez-le durant au moins une seconde, puis relâchez-le. La température de la surface sera affichée instantanément sur l'écran LCD. Prenez note que lorsque vous relâchez le bouton Meas.

Parce que l'IRT102 mesure la quantité d'énergie infrarouge émise par une surface, les mesures de l'IRT sont plus précises lorsque l'on tient compte de l'émissivité caractéristique du matériau ciblé. Comme règle générale, plus brillante est la surface, plus basse sera son émissivité.

Cela signifie que la zone ciblée (l'emplacement) dont le rayonnement infrarouge (la température) est mesuré augmente en diamètre de 2,5 cm (1 po) pour chaque 15,2 cm (6 po) que vous vous éloignez de la cible. Inversement, le diamètre de la zone ciblée diminue par 2,5 cm (1 po) pour chaque 15,2 cm (6 po) que vous vous rapprochez de la cible. Fig.

Un puntero láser indica el área (punto) del cual se mide la temperatura. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD El láser del puntero del IRT102 es del tipo Clase 2 que emite menos de 1 mW de potencia a una longitud de onda de 655 nm.

(medición), sosténgalo por un segundo como mínimo y luego suéltelo. La temperatura de la superficie aparecerá instantáneamente en la pantalla. Tenga en cuenta que cuando presione Meas.
