Product Description:
General Finishes Glaze Effects are translucent water
based colors that may be used over any water based stain,
paint, finish, or select solvent based technology. They
create beautiful decorative finishes, and are ideal for dis-
tressing, antiquing, marble effects, shabby chick, burnish-
ing, color washing, rag rolling, and wood graining.
Glaze Effects are formulated with state of the art technol-
ogy that allows longer open and working time compared
to conventional water based glazes. The unique semi-gel
formula provides the user with the ultimate control and
minimizes pigment settling, runs, and drips. Yet the semi-
gel structure breaks down easily when shaken or stirred to
provide a smooth, creamy stain that can be applied and
wiped with ease.
Application: May be applied via brush, roll or
spray. Stir well before application. Spray: Reduce 10-20%
with EF Extender before spraying. Compressed air: 0.40”
fluid tip / medium cap; HVLP: 0.051” fluid tip / medium
cap. Typically allow 1-3 hours dry before topcoating.
