Taskbar: The area along the bottom of the screen that contains the Start button and buttons for windows,
documents, or applications that are open.
TDMA: Time Division Multiple Access.

UMTS: Universal Mobile Telecommunications Service
USB: Universal Serial Bus
utility: A program that helps you maintain and improve the efficiency of the computer system.

vehicle adapter: An optional device that supplies power from the vehicle battery to operate the computer
and charge the battery installed in the unit. It typically connects to the vehicle battery using the
cigarette lighter socket.
vehicle dock: An optional, vehicle-based docking station designed to safely secure the computer in a
vehicle. You can also use the vehicle dock to charge batteries, or to communicate with other
devices.
Video Graphics Array (VGA): This is a video standard that allows for resolutions up to 640x480 with up
to 16 colors at a time. It also allows for 320x200 resolution with 256 colors.
