Applications
My application locks up, acts strangely, or produces a General Protection
Fault (GPF) error
n If youve tried to resolve the problem and your application still doesnt
respond, you may need to restart your computer as described below.
To reboot your computer, select Start, Turn Off Computer, Restart. If
that does not work, try pressing the Security hot key once to bring up
the Windows Task Manager. Then select Shut Down, Restart.
n The data on the hard disk could be corrupted. Run SCANDISK.
n Windows is out of memory/resources. Exit Windows and restart
Windows.
Communications programs dont seem to work or they lock Windows
n When you first try to use your communications application, the system
responds with a message asking if you want to install the modem.
Answer Yes to this question and follow the instructions on the screen
to install it.
When I rotate the display to portrait orientation my application does not
work or does not display correctly.
