Cisco Wireless LAN
The wireless modem is powered ON after initial boot, reboot, or resume as indicated by the wireless modem LED
being solid green. It can be turned off by right clicking the PC Card icon in the system task tray, then selecting “Stop
Cisco Systems 340 Series Wireless LAN Adapter”. It can be repowered by doing a suspend/resume, or by rebooting
the computer.

Installing the Software for Your Wireless Modem
Following are the installation procedures for installing the software for your wireless modem.
Air Card 300 (CDPD)
• Software comes pre-installed
Air Card 350 (CDPD)
• Software comes pre-installed
Nokia Card Phone 2.0 (GSM)
• Software comes pre-installed
RIM 802D (DataTac) for Motient
The RIM 802D radio is automatically installed through the Plug and Play feature of the Windows operating system.
Once installed, the radio can be accessed as COM4.
