Figure 3 - Charging the Battery
The LED is normally off when the charger is plugged in and no radio or battery is
installed.
If the LED does not illuminate at all when the radio or battery is installed, check AC
power or try reseating the radio or battery.
If the LED illuminates flashing RED at any time, the charger is defective and should be
replaced.
Precautions
• Keep the charger in a well ventilated, dry place.
• Do not use the charger with any other batteries.
• Do not use the charger as a power supply.
• Never charge a radio that is switched on.
• Never insert metal objects into the charger.
• Do not touch the charger terminals.
• Do not connect the charger to a power source outside the 100 to 240 VAC range.
• Do not disassemble the charger.
