General Information and Setup
Hitching Unit to Tow Vehicle
1. Move tow vehicle to a flat area and set parking
brake.
2. See Figure 2-15. Remove locking pin and pull
latch assembly up into the open position (A).
3. Position receiver onto tow vehicle tow ball (B).

4. See Figure 2-16. Close latch assembly (C) to lock
it onto the tow ball.

5. Cross safety chains under ball hitch by attaching
left chain to right anchor and right chain to left
anchor.
6. Attach towing safety chains to tow vehicle (D) and
insert locking pin (E) into latch assembly.
NOTE: Verify safety chains have enough slack for turns.
Attaching Blade Engage and
Disengage Remote Control
IMPORTANT NOTE: Route remote control cable away
from tow vehicle muffler to prevent cable damage.
1. See Figure 2-17 and Figure 2-18. Position blade
engage/disengage remote control (A) on tow vehi-
cle within easy reach of seated driver.

2. Secure remote control to tow vehicle using control
box mounting holes (B) with cable ties.
WARNING
Loss of control. Verify the unit is securely attached to
the tow vehicle. Failure to securely attach the unit
could result in loss of control, resulting in death,
serious injury, unit, or property damage.
