GENERAC POWER SYSTEMS "TWO YEAR" LiMiTED WARRANTY
FOR GP SERIES PORTABLE GENERATORS
For a period of two (2) yearsfrom the date of original sale, GeneracPower Systems, Inc. (Generac)warrants its GPSeries generatorswill be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for the items and period set forth below. Generacwill, at its discretion, repair or replaceany part that, upon examination, inspection andtesting by
Generacor a GeneracAuthorizedWarranty Service Dealer,isfound to be defective. Repairor replacementpursuant to this limited warranty shall not renew or extendthe
original warranty period. Any repairedproduct shall be warrantedfor the remaining original warranty period only. Any equipment that the purchaser/owner claims to be
defective must be returned to and examined bythe nearest GeneracAuthorizedWarranty Service Dealer.All transportation costs under the warranty, including return to
the factory, areto be borne and prepaid by the purchaser/owner.This warranty appliesonly to GeneracGPSeries portable generatorsand is not transferable from original
purchaser.Saveyour proof-of-purchase receipt. If you do not provide proof of the initial purchase date, the manufacturer's shipping date of the product will be usedto
determinethe warranty period.
WARRANTY SCHEDULE
Consumer applicationsare warrantedfor two (2) years. Commercial and Rentalapplications arewarranted for one (1) year or 1000 hours maximum, whichever comes first.

NOTE: Forthe purpose of this warranty "consumer use" means personalresidential household or recreational use by original purchaseEThis warranty does not apply to
units used for Prime Powerin place of utility where utility power service is presentor where utility power service does not normally exist. Once a generatorhas experienced
commercial or rental use, it shall thereafter be considered a non-consumer use generatorfor the purpose ofthis warranty.
GUiDELiNES:
1. All warranty repairs, must be performed and/or addressed by an Authorized/CertifiedGeneracDealer,or branchthereof.
2. Units that have been resoldare not coveredunder the GeneracWarranty,as this Warranty is not transferable.
3. Use of Non-Generacreplacementpart(s) will void the warranty in its entirety.
4. Generac may choose to Repair,Replace or Refunda piece of equipment.
5. Warranty LaborRates arebased on normal working hours. Additional costs for overtime, holiday or emergency labor costs for repairs outside of normal business hours
will be the responsibility of the customer.
6. Warranty Parts shipment costs are reimbursedat ground shipment rates. Costsrelatedto requests for expeditedshippingwill be the responsibility of the customer.

8. Verification of required maintenancemay be requiredfor warranty coverage.
THiS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Costs of normal maintenanceand adjustments.
2. Failures caused by any contaminatedfuels, oils or lack of proper oil levels.
3. Repairsor diagnostics performed by individuals other than Generac authorizeddealers not authorized in writing by Generac.
4. Failures due, but not limitedto, normal wear andtear,accident, misuse, abuse, negligenceor improper use.
5. As with all mechanical devices,the Generacengines need periodic part(s) service and replacementto perform as designed.This warranty will not cover repairwhen
normal use has exhaustedthe life of a part(s) or engine.
6. Failures caused by any externalcause or act of God, such as collision, theft, vandalism, riot or wars, nuclearholocaust, fire, freezing,lightning, earth-quake,windstorm,
hail, volcanic eruption, water or flood, tornado or hurricane.
7. Damage relatedto rodent and/or insect infestation.
8. Products that are modified or altered in a manner not authorized by Generacin writing.
9. Any incidental, consequentialor indirect damages caused by defects in materials or workmanship, or any delay in repair or replacementof the defective part(s).
10. Failuredue to misapplication.
11. Expensesrelated to "customer instruction" or troubleshooting whereno manufacturing defect is found.
12. Rentalequipment used while warranty repairs arebeing performed.
13. Starting batteries, fuses, light bulbs and enginefluids.
THISWARRANTYIS IN PLACEOFALL OTHERWARRANTIES,EXPRESSEDORIMPLIED.SPECIFICALLY,GENERACMAKESNO OTHERWARRANTIESAS TO THE
MERCHANTABILITYOR FITNESSFORA PARTICULARPURPOSE.Any implied warranties allowed by law shall be limited in duration to the terms of the expresswarranty
provided herein.Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. GENERAC'SONLYLIABILITY
SHALL BETHE REPAIRORREPLACEMENTOFPART(S)AS STATEDABOVE.INNO EVENTSHALLGENERACBELIABLEFORANY INCIDENTALOR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES,EVENIFSUCH DAMAGESAREA DIRECTRESULTOFGENERAC'SNEGLIGENCE.Some states do not allow the exclusionor limitation of incidental or
consequentialdamages, so the above limitation may notapply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights.You also haveother rightsfrom state to state.
