YOURWARRANTYRIGHTSANDOBLiGATiONS

TheUnitedStates EnvironmentalProtectionAgency (EPA)and GeneracPower Systems, Inc. (Generac)are pleasedto explainthe EmissionOontrol

System warranty onyour new 2008 and later equipment. Newequipmentthat use small spark-ignited enginesmust be designed,built, and equipped

to meet stringent anti-smog standardsfor the federalgovernment. Generacwill warrant the emission control system on your generatorfor the period of

time listed below providedthere has beenno abuse,neglect,unapprovedmodification or impropermaintenanceof your equipment.

Youremission control system may includeparts such as the: carburetor,ignition system, fuel system, catalytic converter, andother associated

emission-relatedcomponents (if equipped).

MANUFACTURER'SWARRANTYCOVERAGE:

This emission control system is warrantedfor two years. If, during such warranty period,any emission-relatedpart on your equipmentis found to be

defectivein materials or workmanship, repairs or replacementwill beperformed by a GeneracAuthorizedWarrantyService Dealer.

OWNER'SWARRANTYRESPONSiBiLiTiES:

As the generatorowner,you are responsiblefor the completion of all requiredmaintenanceas listed in your factory supplied Owner'sManual.For

warranty purposes, Generacrecommendsthat you retainall receipts covering maintenanceon your generator,but Generaccannot deny warranty

solely due to the lack of receipts.

As the generatorowner,you should be awarethat Generacmay deny any and/orall warranty coverageor responsibilityif your generator,or a part!

componentthereof, hasfailed due to abuse,neglect, impropermaintenanceor unapprovedmodifications, or the useof counterfeit and/or "grey market"

parts not made, supplied or approvedby Generac.

Youare responsible for contactinga GeneracAuthorizedWarranty Dealer as soon as a problemoccurs.The warrantyrepairs should he

completed in a reasonable amount oftime, not to exceed 30 days.

IMPORTANTNOTE:Thiswarranty statementexplainsyour rights and obligations underthe EmissionOontrolSystem Warranty (EOSWarranty),which

is provided to you by Generacpursuantto federal law. See alsothe "GeneracLimitedWarrantiesfor GeneracPowerSystems, Inc.,"which is enclosed

herewith on a separatesheet, also provided to you by Generac.Notethat this warranty shall not applyto anyincidental,consequentialor indirect

damagescaused by defectsin materials or workmanship or any delayin repair or replacementof the defectivepart(s). This warranty is in placeof all

other warranties,expressedor implied. Specifically,Generacmakes no otherwarranties as to the merchantabilityor fitness for a particular purpose.

Any implied warrantiesallowedby law shall be limited in duration to theterms of the expresswarranty provided herein. Some states do not allow

limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the abovelimitation may not applyto you.

TheEOSWarrantyapplies only to the emission control system of your new equipment.If thereis anyconflict in terms betweenthe ECSWarranty and

the GeneracWarranty,the GeneracWarrantyshall apply.Both the EOSWarrantyand the GeneracWarrantydescribe important rights and obligations

with respectto your new engine.

Warrantyservice can be performed only by a GeneracAuthorizedWarranty Service Facility.Whenrequestingwarranty service, evidencemust be

presentedshowing the date of the saleto the original purchaser/owner.
