Installing the Breather Heater
400 Series Engines
1. See Figure 3. Wrap breather heater (A) around
breather hose, evenly spaced as shown, with lead
wire
s at the bottom. Wrap breather heater and
hose with silicone tape (provided) to secure heater.

ss lead wires through harness grommet (B) in
engine divider panel. Secure all wires with plastic
wire ties at least 0.5 in (1 cm) away from fuel
hoses.
4. Pro
ceed to Connecting Lead Wires.
800 Series Engines
1. See Figure 5. Wrap breather heater (C) around
breather hose, evenly space
d as shown, with lead
wires at the top. Wrap breather heater and hose
with silicone tape (provided) to secure heater.

lead wires through harness grommet (F) in

4. Secure
all wires with plastic wire ties at least 0.5 in

ceed to Connecting Lead Wires.
