Keep exhaustgasfrom enteringa confined areathrough
windows, doors, ventilationintakes,or other openings.Warn any
occupants inside aboutthe symptoms of carbon monoxideso
they know to move to fresh air if they begin to feel ill.
The use of a carbon monoxidedetector insideany occupied
premises betweenthe power washer andthe occupant is
recommended.
NEVERstart or run engineindoors, in a vehicle, or in an
enclosedarea, EVENIFwindows and doors are open.
Use a respiratoror maskwheneverthere is a chancethat
harmful gas or vapors may beinhaled.
Readall instructions with respiratoror mask so you are certain
the respiratoror mask will providethe necessaryprotection
againstinhaling harmful gas or vapors. If you begin to

system is equippedwith a spark arrester,as definedin
Section 4442, maintainedin effectiveworking order.Other
states or federaljurisdictions may havesimilar laws.
Contactthe original equipmentmanufacturer,retailer,or dealerto
obtaina spark arrester designedfor the exhaustsystem installed
onthis engine.
Replacementparts must bethe same and installedin the same
position as the original parts.

WHENADDINGDR DRAININGFUEL
Turnpower washerOFFand let it cool at leasttwo (2)
minutes beforeremovingfuel cap. Loosencap slowly to
relievepressurein tank.

DONOToverfill tank. Allow spacefor fuel expansion.
If fuel spills, wait until it evaporatesbeforestarting
engine.
Keepfuel awayfrom sparks, openflames,pilot lights, heat, and
other ignition sources.
DONOT fighta cigaretteor smoke.
WHEN STARTINGEQUIPMENT
Ensurespark plug, muffler,fuel cap, and air cleanerare in place.
DONOT crank enginewith spark plug removed.
WHEN OPERATINGEQUIPMENT
DONOTtip engineor equipment at anglewhich causesfuel to
spill.
DONOT sprayflammable liquids.
WHENTRANSPORTINGORREPAIRINGEQUIPMENT
Transport/repairwith fuel tank EMPTYor with fuel shutoff valve
OFF.
Disconnect spark plug wire.
WHEN STORINGFUELDR EQUIPMENTWITH FUELiN TANK
Store awayfrom furnaces, stoves, water heaters, clothes dryers,
or otherappliancesthat havepilot light or other ignition source
becausethey can ignitefuel vapors.
