LONGTERMSTORAGE
If you do not planto usethe power washerfor more than 30 days,
you must preparethe engineandpump for long term storage.
PROTECTFUELSYSTEM
Fuelcan becomestalewhen storedover30 days. Stalefuel causes
acid and gum deposits to form in the fuel system or on essential
carburetorparts. To keepfuel fresh, use a fuel stabilizer, available
as a liquid additiveor a drip concentratecartridge.
Thereis no needto draingasolinefrom the engineif afuel stabilizer
is addedaccordingto instructions. Runthe enginefor 2 minutesto
circulate the stabilizerthroughoutthe fuel system. The engineand
fuel can then be storedup to 24 months.
If gasolinein the enginehas not beentreatedwith a fuel stabilizer,
it must be drainedinto an approvedcontainer.Runthe engineuntil
it stops from lack of fuel. The use of afuel stabilizerin the storage
containeris recommendedto maintainfreshness.
