Operation
Section 4: Operation
Control Panel
NOTE: The control panel is intended for use by qualified
service personnel only.
See Figure 4-1. The control panel is located behind the
viewing window at the rear of the unit. See Figure 3-5
and Figure 3-6.

IMPORTANT NOTE: With control panel set to AUTO,
engine may crank and start at any time without warn-
ing. Such automatic starting occurs during the pro-
grammed exercise cycle or when utility power source
voltage drops below configured level. To prevent
possible injury that might occur during sudden
starts, always set control panel to OFF and remove
the 7.5 amp fuse before working on or around the
generator or transfer switch. For added security,
place a DO NOT OPERATE tag or placard on both the
control panel and transfer switch.
