General Information and Setup
Hitching Unit to Tow Vehicle
Hitch Adapter
1. See Figure 2-32. Slide tow into tow bar adapter,
align holes, and secure with linchpin (A).

2. See Figure 2-33. Position hitch adapter (B) on tow
vehicle with tow vehicle hitch plate (C) between
hitch adapter and tow bar (D).
3. Secure hitch adapter to tow vehicle with clevis pin
and hairpin cotter pin (E).

Trailer Hitch
1. See Figure 2-34. Slide tow bar into tow bar
adapter, align holes, and secure with linchpin (A).

1. See Figure 2-35. Lift latch assembly (B) and place
the tow hitch assembly onto the ball.
2. Close the latch assembly to lock tow hitch assem-
bly onto tow ball.
3. Verify hitch coupler (C) is properly and securely
attached to tow ball.

4. See Figure 2-36. Insert locking pin (E) into the
hole in the latch assembly to lock the assembly in
the closed position.

before grinding stumps. Grinding stumps with tow
bar installed could result in death, serious injury, or
damage to property or the unit.

flat terrain or over 4 mph (6 km/h) on rough terrain.
Doing so could resulting in loss of control of the
equipment and serious injury.
