Operation
Shredder Hopper
Feed limited quantities of material into shredder
hopper. Increase quantity as suitable. Decrease
quantity if engine speed decreases. This amount
will vary based on material being shredded.
Do not resume feeding until engine has returned to
speed.
Maximum diameter of material is 1.5 in (38.1 mm).
Larger material must be fed through the chipper
hopper.
Inspect unit for damage regularly. Damage can
cause rotor assembly to be unbalanced, causing
excessive vibration. Do not use unit if there is
excessive vibration.
Small branches can be fed into shredder hopper
once bundled, if bundle diameter is less than 1.5 in
(38.1 mm).
Allow green materials to dry before feeding. Wet
materials may cause clogging or winding.
Stopping
NOTE: Close fuel shutoff valve when transporting or
storing unit.
