Operation and Use Questions

operation and maintenance.
Before Starting Engine
IMPORTANT NOTE: Unit is shipped without oil. Add
engine oil before starting. See Adding Engine Oil for
instructions.
1. Check engine oil level.
2. Check fuel level.
3. Inspect for damage.
4. Inspect shaft movement using a long stick. Never
use hands, feet, or metal objects. Clean out chip-
per/shredder hopper(s) as instructed if shaft does
not turn.
5. See Figure 3-1. Verify flywheel turns clockwise
when viewed from the chipper hopper side opera-
tor zone.

6. Check tire pressure.

to overdischarge of batteries and starter seizure.
