General Information and Setup
3. Attach rear of tow bar to rear of frame support
using a 3/8 in - 16 x 3 in bolt and 3/8 in - 16 lock
nut. Secure loosely.
4. Attach tow bar to front frame support using a 3/8 in
- 16 x 3 in bolt and 3/8 in - 16 lock nut and tighten.
5. Tighten bolt from step 3.
6. Remove jack stands.
Attaching Chipper Hopper
NOTE: Insert a towel or large rag into the opening to
keep bolts from falling into chipper. Remove at end of
procedure.
1. Attach chipper hopper to unit using four 5/16 in - 18
x 3/4 in carriage bolts, four 5/16 in flat washers and
four 5/16 in - 18 nylon lock nuts.
NOTE: See Figure 2-4. Insert bolts from inside of chip-
per hopper so threads stick outwards and heads are flush
against hopper. Install bolts, washers, and nuts at one
time.

2. Install flat washer, then lock nut on each bolt. Install
bolts and nuts and finger tighten. Tighten the nuts
one turn. Verify hopper is centered on inlet chute,
and then tighten securely.
Attaching Shredder Hopper
1. See Figure 2-5. Place shredder hopper onto unit.

2. Secure with four 5/16 - 18 x 3/4 in bolts and lock-
nuts.
WARNING
Personal injury. Do not operate the unit with the hopper
or discharge chute removed. Doing so could cause
death, serious injury, property or equipment damage.
