PRODUCT INFORMATION BULLETIN

PURPOSE: To make RTSN and RTSE compatible with 2010 Air-cooled HSB control system to provide a 120 VAC
power source for battery charge.
MATERIAL REQUIRED: Rework kit, Generac part no. OH93030SRV.
TOOLS REQUIRED:
7/16” hex wrench, socket or nut driver.

5/16 allen wrench.•
¼” hex driver.•
¼” hex wrench, socket or nut driver. •
PROCEDURE:
1. Disconnect all sources of electrical supply to the RTSN/RTSE transfer switch.
2. Open the outside cover and remove the fasteners holding the inside cover to gain access to the switch interior.
3. Locate & mount the single fuse holder (Generac part no. 73591) to the left of the Customer connection terminal
strip. Secure with self drilling screws provided. Remove all chips from drilling.
4. Connect the wire labeled T1 between the fuse block and the T1 lug shown in (Figure 1).
5. Install the 5A non-time delay fuse (Generac part no. 073590) in fuse holder.
6. Connect RTSN/RTSE to the 2010 HSB model as shown in the interconnect diagrams.
