Align the lollipop mount with the mounting plate, and insert the pins into the mounting plate holes. 3.
To remove the lollipop mount, press up on the release button, turn the lollipop mount a quarter turn counterclockwise, and lift it off the mounting plate. Mounting the SSL-836 to a Light Stand 1. Make sure the ratchet handle is tightened before mounting the SSL-836. INSTRUCTOONS Attaching the Lollipop Mount (continued) 2. Loosen the locking knob, and place the 5/8-inch receiver on a light stand. 3. Tighten the locking knob until secure. 4. Loosen the ratchet handle to adjust the light’s tilt and swivel.
INSTRUCTIONS POWERING THE SSL-836 Using the SSL-836 with AC power To Secure the AC Adapter to the Control Box: 1. Connect the AC power adapter to the control box with the locking 4-pin XLR connector, and plug the power cable into an outlet. 1. Wrap the touch-connect strap securely around the AC adapter. Important! The connectors should easily attach. Don’t use force to connect the control box to the light fixture. 2.
POWERING THE SSL-836 (CONTINUED) ADJUSTING THE LIGHT Using the SSL-836 with Battery Power Important! 1. When attaching a V-mount battery, make sure the power switch is in the off position, and disconnect the AC adapter so the control box is not plugged into a wall outlet. 2. Align the battery terminals with the contacts in the battery mount. 3. Place the battery into the mount, and push the battery toward the contacts until it clicks into place. 4. Push the 3-way power switch to the DC position.
WIRELESS OPERATION The SSL-836’s control box has an integrated transmitter and receiver with four channels. 1 2 INSTRUCTIONS The Genaray SSL-RC remote (sold separately) can control multiple SSL-series lights. Refer to the Genaray SSL-RC user manual for setup and operation instructions. To remotely control Genaray SSL series digitally controlled lights from the SSL-836’s control box, follow these steps: 1.
