Align the lollipop mount with the mounting plate, and insert the pins into the mounting plate holes. 3.
To remove the lollipop mount, press up on the release button, turn the lollipop mount a quarter turn counterclockwise, and lift it off the mounting plate. Mounting the SSL-36B to a Light Stand 1. Make sure the ratchet handle is tightened before mounting the SSL-36B. INSTRUCTOONS Attaching the Lollipop Mount (continued) 2. Loosen the locking knob, and place the 5/8-inch receiver on a light stand. 3. Tighten the locking knob until secure. 4. Loosen the ratchet handle to adjust the light’s tilt and swivel.
INSTRUCTIONS POWERING THE SSL-36B Using the SSL-36B with AC power To Secure the AC Adapter to the Control Box: 1. Connect the AC power adapter to the control box with the locking 3-pin XLR connector, and plug the power cable into an outlet. 1. Wrap the touch-connect strap securely around the AC adapter. Important! The connectors should easily attach. Don’t use force to connect the control box to the light fixture. 2.
POWERING THE SSL-36B (CONTINUED) ADJUSTING THE LIGHT Using the SSL-36B with Battery Power 2. Align the battery terminals with the contacts in the battery mount. 3. Place the battery into the mount, and push the battery toward the contacts until it clicks into place. 4. Push the 3-way power switch to the DC position. ADJUSTING THE LIGHT WIRELESS OPERATION (CONTINUED) Barndoors INSTRUCTIONS Adjust the barndoor to aim or shape the beam and contain light spill. Important! Do not operate the light while the barndoors are closed. The SSL-36B’s control box has an integrated transmitter and receiver with four channels. The Genaray SSL-RC remote (sold separately) can control multiple SSL-series lights. Refer to the Genaray SSL-RC user manual for setup and operation instructions.

Make sure the control boxes are set to the same channel. 3 Mutual Control (multiple lights set to the same channel): USING THE SSL-RC REMOTE Genaray lights that are equipped with SSL-RC remote capability can be controlled individually or globally with the SSL-RC remote (sold separately). INSTRUCTIONS WIRELESS OPERATION Refer to the user manual that comes with the SSL-RC remote for instructions. Any control box will set the brightness level for all the lights.
