SP-E-NPBA AND SP-E-NPAB NP BATTERY ADAPTERS FOR V-MOUNT AND GOLD-MOUNT EQUIPPED DEVICES USER MANUAL
INTRODUCTION The Genaray SpectroLED Essential NP Battery Adapters are a portable and economical solution for V-Mount or Gold mount equipped devices. These adapters allow you to use two Sony NP-F series batteries instead of a V-Mount or Gold mount battery, creating a more affordable powering setup. The adapter’s two battery bays have separate 24 V, 4 amp fuses, which provide the units with over-voltage protection.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES INSTRUCTIONS The Essential-series NP battery adapters have two battery bays with individual fuses for over-voltage protection. To install a battery, align it in the proper orientation with the adapter, and slide the battery into place. An audible click will indicate that the battery is secure.
Note Two NP-F batteries must be installed for the adapters to function. The battery adapters come with a battery indicator light, which displays the remaining charge of the batteries in quarters. Press and hold the Test button next to the indicator light to view the battery status. INSTRUCTIONS the side of the battery bay and slide out the battery. Additionally, the NP battery adapters have a D-Tap output, which allows you to power a myriad of compatible devices. D-Tap cables are sold separately.
MOUNTING TO YOUR DEVICE To mount the adapters onto your compatible device, simply align the adapter with the mount in the proper orientation and slide the adapter into place. A click sound will indicate that it is secured. To remove the adapter, push and hold the release button and slide the adapter off of your device’s mount.
CHANGING THE FUSE To change the SP-E-NPBA’s fuse, use a small screwdriver to turn the cover of the fuse bay counterclockwise while pressing in. Remove the old fuse, insert a new fuse into the bay, and replace the cover. Use a screwdriver to turn the cover clockwise while pressing in. SP-E-NPBA To change the SP-E-NPAB’s fuse, remove the four screws on the bottom of the adapter. Unscrew the fuse bay and replace the fuse. Two spare fuses are included.
ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY This GENARAY product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later.
