THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING GENARAY Radiance INTRODUCTION The Genaray 230-watt Radiance monolight features an advanced chip-on-board (COB) array that outputs a substantial 23,000 lux for a powerful, flicker-free 5600 K light source. Extremely quiet cooling fans make the Radiance a great a choice for film, broadcast, and video projects, as well as photo sessions. The Radiance runs on AC power or two V-mount batteries that will provide enough power for lengthy location shoots.

MOUNTING THE RADIANCE CONTENTS INCLUDE · LED with yoke · AC power supply Contents · AC power cord · Remote · Antenna · Reflector · Carry case Mount the Radiance on any heavy-duty light stand with a 5/8-inch baby pin. 1. Loosen the locking knob, and press the locking button to fit the 5/8-inch mount on the light stand’s mounting stud. 2. Make sure the mount is properly seated on the light stand, and turn the locking knob until secure.
The Radiance is outfitted with a Bowens mount that’s compatible with most Bowens-mount accessories. 1. Align the mounting studs on the reflector with the mounting slots on the fixture. 2. Insert the reflector, and turn it clockwise until it clicks into place. To remove the reflector, push and hold the Bowens-mount release, and turn the reflector counterclockwise. POWERING THE RADIANCE AC POWER Important The Radiance is a multivoltage fixture capable of running on 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz.
ADJUSTING THE BRIGHTNESS Instructions The power supply has two sets of rubber feet that allow you to stand the unit horizontally or vertically. BATTERY POWER The Radiance can be powered by two V-mount batteries. Important Both V-mount batteries must be attached to operate the Radiance on battery power. When attaching the batteries, make sure the power switch is in the off (O) position, and the fixture is not plugged into a wall outlet.
Use the same steps to set the channel and DMX address numbers. To set the channel or DMX number: 1. Touch the on-screen menu button. The first digit will blink. 2. Touch the Enter button to change the number in increments of 1. 3. Follow steps 1 and 2 to set the second and third digits. 4. After setting all three digits, press the Menu button to accept your selection. REMOTE OPERATION POWERING ON/CHARGING THE REMOTE Press the power button to turn on the remote. The LCD screen will illuminate.

USING DMX Note When the Radiance is connected to a DMX console, the remote is disabled. To set up DMX operation on the Radiance, follow these steps: 3.
