BATTERY STORAGE
If you won’t be riding your bike for a while, charge the battery and store it somewhere
indoors where the temperature is well regulated.
If the bike is not used for more than a month, it is best to store the battery as follows:
1. At 40%-60% of its capacity.
2. Recharge once a month for 30 minutes.
3. Store at temperatures between 32°F (0°C) and 104°F (40°C).
If the battery is not in use, it should be checked once a month. At least one LED light
should blink to indicate there is still a charge. Charge the battery if necessary.
It is important to charge the battery at least every two months. Failure to do so may
damage the battery and void the battery warranty.
When storing battery for longer time period (e.g., during the winter) it is important to
place the on a flat and dry place.
Keep battery and charger away from water and heat sources.
Do not cover the battery or the charger, place objects over or on them.
Do not expose the battery or the charger to shocks such as falling.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING - When using this product, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
a) Read all the instructions before using the product.
b) To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when the product is used near children.
c) Do not put fingers or hands into the product.
d) Do not use this product if the flexible power cord or output cable is frayed, has broken insulation, or any other signs of damage.
e) This equipment is not intended to be used at ambient temperatures less than -4°F (-20°C) or above ambient temperatures
of 113°F (45°C).
f) The battery is intended to be charged when the ambient temperature is between 32°F (0°C) and 104°F (40°C). Never charge the
battery when ambient temperatures are outside this range.
g) CAUTION: Risk of Electric Shock – Only use this battery charger indoors.
h) Charging of the electric bike only be performed with the manufacturer’s charger model DPLC110V55.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
Be sure to recycle your old batteries at a
local battery recycle center.
Do not dispose of lithium batteries in
the garbage.
