BATTERY TIPS
Note - Your electric bike comes with two copies of the battery key. Keep one key in a safe place for
repairs, maintenance, and emergencies, and to bring with you to the bike shop.
• Remove the battery by turning the key to the UNLOCK position. The battery is then released from the
bike frame housing.
• To return the battery, insert back into the frame housing until it clicks into place. You must turn the key
to the LOCK position to secure the battery.

WARNING: For bike models: The Flex, The OutCross, and The Stride: The bike should not be
operated with the key still in the lock. This could result in loss of the key, or inadvertent release
of the battery during riding. The Groove bike model’s key must be inserted during operation.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
• Connect to the battery to the charger.
• Connect the charger to a power outlet.
• The charging process can be stopped at any time. When charging is in progress the battery
indicator light shows red; after fully charged, the light turns green.
• When charging is complete, disconnect the charger from the power outlet first & then from the battery.
• Please note the additional information on the back of battery case.
CHARGING TIPS
• Always store and charge your battery in a dry location. Long-term exposure to water, humidity, and
damp conditions are harmful to e-bike batteries.
• Inspect and maintain the electrical contacts between the battery and the connection point on the
bike regularly.
